This involves applying silk or faux-mink eyelash extensions using a slightly different application method, where between 3-14 extremely light-weight extensions are applied in a fanned-out way, to each natural lash, creating intense volume with a soft, fluffy feeling.
Volume lashes are really wonderful for those with naturally fine or sparse lashes – because you can have a much thicker look without the extra weight. More advanced styling options are available with these sets, including wispy/strip lash looks which are very popular.
Please be careful of unqualified operators using flare/cluster lashes and offering this service as ‘volume lashes/express volume. i.e. usually a whole set done in an hour or less. We remove these from time to time – flare/cluster lashes are not individual eyelash extensions/volume lashes, and are not meant to be applied using permanent lash glue (they are supposed to be used with temporary false lash glue and removed the same day). When applied with eyelash extension glue, the results are disastrous
